Every day there has been a new update from the government that has meant significant changes to the way we all behave because of Covid-19. Many businesses have been forced to close, and this has left business premises empty and vulnerable. More and more people have needed to self-isolate due to being vulnerable themselves, due to living with vulnerable people or due to having symptoms of coronavirus. It's a very scary and daunting situation for all of us, and something that none of us have ever experienced before.
We're now only allowed to leave the house once a day for essential travel or for exercise, and we have to stay at least two meters away from other individuals who aren't part of our household. It's an incredible shift away from normality, and understandably has put a vast amount of stress on families up and down the country -- including those who are part of the Carter Solutions and Services family.
We want to thank our incredible workforce
We therefore wanted to write a blog specifically to thank our incredible workforce and their dedication to work hard at keeping businesses and members of the public safe during these unprecedented times. Despite the challenges, the quality of the security service we provide hasn't slipped, and our men and women have worked incredibly hard to maintain their professionalism on each and every shift.
For those that were working in pubs, clubs and licensed gaming venues that have now had to close their doors, we thank them for their hard work and versatility. For those who work in the retail industry, as mobile patrol or manned guarding, they have had to stay calm in the face of panic buying and stock piling members of the public, and now stand strong at the doorways of many of these establishments, ensuring the social distancing precautions are adhered to.
We also want to thank our support team in the office, for managing our clients and supporting our security officers.
