Passionate about security and business-minded? We are actively recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our ever-expanding office team based in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.
What does it take to be successful?
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of the following:
- Security Industry knowledge, preferably within the Manned Guarding sector
This is our bread and butter, what makes us tick and what we’ve worked hard to build an impeccable reputation for. Having a passion for security and knowing your stuff is a vital part of this role as it means you’ll be able to hit the ground running.
- Understanding of the SIA (Security Industry Authority)
All of our security officers hold a valid SIA license and all potential candidates looking to join our team of existing security officers must hold an SIA license before applying. Knowing what the Security Industry Authority does and what obtaining an SIA license involves, including the modules and topics covered, is important background knowledge that will help you to succeed.
- Sales and Marketing experience (Telephone, Email, Face2Face, and PQQ Tenders) and excellent communication skills
We’ve worked incredibly hard over the last years to adapt and evolve our image to reflect the quality of the security services we provide. We’re looking for someone to drive that forward, someone who is comfortable leading on sales, and with excellent communication skills.

Additional information about the role
We’re also looking for someone with a full UK driving license, as an electric vehicle will be provided for all business travel. A bespoke remuneration package can be offered. However, our current package would consist of a £30,000 basic salary with an OTE of £45,000 per annum (inclusive of performance-related commissions).
Office hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
