You’d be the face (well, the voice) of Carter Security
We’re looking for an individual with telemarketing experience who can represent Carter Security over the phone to prospective clients. They need to be professional, personable and fit in with our busy office environment, sharing our values of trust, quality and transparency. Due to the nature of this role, a hybrid working environment wouldn’t be possible.
As a family business that’s grown from success to success, our office is open plan, meaning you’ll have the unique opportunity to regularly touch base with everyone in the business - including owner and founder Nick Carter and all other management. This gives you the chance to see exactly what we’re about, allowing you to convey that to potential clients. We’d be putting our trust in you to represent Carter Security!
Great communication skills mean listening skills too!
Active listening is a key skill required for this role. This means being able to develop a rapport with an individual over the phone, by responding to their comments to show you’re genuinely interested in what they have to say! Being confident in your ability to hold a conversation is essential, so your personality must shine through.
If you have marketing experience, this is an added bonus. It’ll demonstrate to us that you’re business-minded and know how to showcase our security services to meet the needs of our clients. We’re an organisation that’s always looking to grow, so sharing that passion and company culture would make you an ideal candidate.
Learn about the security industry
It isn’t essential that you’d need experience within the security sector as we can teach you all you need to know about quality security and the services we offer our clients. However, having an interest in security would be beneficial for this position.
