On the morning of 13th March, Little Miracles Charity was broken into. Little Miracles is a charity based in Peterborough, making it local to our Head Office in Wisbech, and they support families that have children with additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions. Parents refer to the charity as a ‘lifeline’, so it’s clear that the work they do has a massive impact on the local community. The break-in has meant extensive damage to the building itself, but also the theft and damage of equipment such as games consoles, laptops, and ipads. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but it's clear that the cost of the replacements and repairs will cause the charity, and those they support, a great deal of stress.
Crime prevention and management is something we’re passionate about, but helping our local community is something that sits at the heart of our company values, so upon hearing about this and the damage that was caused, we knew we wanted to help. As a result, we’ve sponsored the replacements of the IT and gaming equipment, as well as featuring on West Norfolk radio earlier this week to raise the profile of the charity and what they’re currently facing. We hope that this shows those at Little Miracles that the work they do is valued, and that local businesses such as ours want to be involved in supporting them as they recover from this awful event.
