A key part of the role of a security officer is customer service. Outstanding customer service not only ensures the needs of the client are met, but it supports other employees and members of the public. Having the right attitude is something we will always look for when recruiting new security officers for Carter Security, and we’re incredibly proud of all Carter Security Officers who continue to demonstrate excellent customer service when on shift. 

Graeme is one of our security officers, operating at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn. We’re thrilled to be able to share the below comments, demonstrating his exceptional attitude and explementary customer service.

“I visited the hospital yesterday with my mother and father-in-law who were booked in for a covid vaccination at the inspire centre.

On driving into the car park we were greeted by [Security Officer] Graeme who directed us to a space. We found Graeme to be very friendly and welcoming. He could see that my father in law was struggling to get out of the car (he had a fall and hurt his back Saturday evening) and offered him a wheelchair but we decided it would be better for him to walk slowly. I was going to ask if he could come back out the entrance after the vaccination to save him walking all the way round the building, but Graeme beat me to it and told us to come out that way.

After the vaccination, it started to rain as we approached the car park and Graeme immediately grabbed his umbrella and held it over my father in law the entire time that it took him to get back to and into the car. It is people like that who make you smile and he is a credit to you.”
