Whilst safety, sense and logic influenced the government to decide to postpone the lifting of all legal restrictions, it has left the hospitality and music industry feeling more frustrated than ever. In March last year, none of us could have predicted the length of restrictions and the impact they would have on the way we live. Although we have adapted, the light at the end of the tunnel has been the 21st of June, and moving this deadline has led to mixed feelings across the country.
We will, of course, continue to work hard throughout the next four weeks to support the government guidelines with social distancing, track and trace measures and number restrictions -- particularly in our door supervisor roles. In these uncertain times, we also wanted to make it clear that our standards never change -- and we are always true to our word.
We will always provide exceptional security, and there are a few key points you can be sure of.
1. All of our security officers hold an SIA license
First and foremost are the men and women that we recruit. We take the recruitment process extremely seriously, wanting to always ensure that the people we employ can adhere to the high standards we set ourselves. One way we do this is by having the prerequisite of an SIA license. An SIA license sets the basic standard of what's to be expected by a security officer, and perhaps most importantly it's an industry-recognised qualification.
2. We invest in remote management
Remote working has always been a part of our culture here at Carter Security Solutions. As a business that operates nationwide, we have had to adapt to being able to support our security officers, regardless of where they might be working in the country. The tools we use ensure the welfare of our staff (for example, taking welfare breaks) as well as providing peace of mind to our clients that our security officers are on-site and working.
