A few months ago, the decision was made to expand the business to incorporate two other key services to assist businesses in the local area and nationally. This includes Carter Staffing and Carter Consultancy, to join the existing Carter Security business you already know!
How to present these so it’s clear that these three businesses can be utilised individually or as a combined offering meant thinking about branding, website functionality, and timing. Keen to get things moving, the branding process began, and
the decision of a combined logo was made – with each logo still able to be used on its own as well.
We thought long and hard about whether to host all businesses under one domain, or have one singular website to serve all, and knowing that each business complements the others, we decided on having them all under the same URL to make it a user friendly as possible.
Having the functionality to be able to click on each logo was hugely important to us, we wanted to make it easy to navigate, as well as being modern, corporate and responsive. For increased speed and functionality – especially on mobile – we have opted for the use of icons across the site, though we’re excited about our upcoming photo shoot in September!
