Consider hosting the event outside, with enough space to allow for adequate social distancing. Whilst this may not be a legal requirement in the weeks to come, it will almost undoubtedly help in making your guests feel more comfortable, and it will be something to subtly acknowledge in your marketing efforts too.

The same logic applies to the date. If you're hosting an outdoor event, the summer months are the most reliable for good weather. With so many of us fed-up of being cooped up indoors throughout the winter to keeping everyone safe, the idea of being out in the sunshine might just tip over those more cautious amongst us to buy a ticket and attend, knowing that the location and date have been carefully considered.
