Do you frequent your local high street, wanting to support local businesses as well as taking a break from scrolling through endless online shopping website? More and more people are wanting to focus on supporting their towns by shopping local, and this increased footfall, alongside the current cost of living crisis could mean an upwards trend of shoplifting and theft.

Or perhaps you’re looking forward to visiting your closest retail park? Knowing you have everything you need at your finger tips, but the business and increased traffic can make it a less than enjoyable experience.

With over 30 years of experience in the security industry – including retail security – we can support local retailers and retail parks by reducing shop lifting, and helping with traffic and crowd control.

Supporting retail staff

Our security officers aim to be an extension of any retail team. Not only does their presence reduce the risk of anti-social behaviour, but we can also prevent, reduce and confront shoplifters if needed, retaining them until the local authorities can attend. This allows retail teams to focus on supporting customers and boosting the customer experience, minimising any disputions.

Undercover security

Whilst uniformed security officers act as an excellent deterrent to crime, they are also -- in their nature -- very obvious, and stand out against the crowd. This has its distinct advantages but also can make them a target to avoid should an opportunistic shoplifter try their luck in your store. Undercover security officers are much more discrete, and our years of experience enables a subtle but highly effective measure against crime.

The safety of your customers

Legislation requires all SIA licensed security officers to hold a first aid certification, making them excellent first responders should a medical emergency arise. Uniformed security officers are easy to recognise, and we’ve worked hard on our branding to make sure that’s it’s bright and bold. We can also step in if a customer feels unsafe, such as if they are being followed or threatened. The safety of the general public will always be a priority for us.
