Next weekend, the six nations kicks off, with Wales vs Ireland, following England vs Scotland later in the day. When sporting events are shown in pubs and bars across the country, you can expect the venue to be much busier than normal, and whenever England plays, you can double those numbers! Rowdy crowds cheering the country on is great for business, but should those crowds result in anti-social behaviour, it can very quickly become bad for your reputation.

Sport can negatively impact people’s natural behaviour, with competitiveness making a bad partner for alcohol, and whilst it’s never our aim to curb fun and dampen the atmosphere, we will step in at the first instance of drunk and disorderly behaviour becoming disruptive. Our first port of call would be a warning, but we will have no issues asking a group or individual to leave. Conversations like these can be uncomfortable and intimidating for your team, especially if those in question are locals, so having trained security officers on-site that you can trust keeps your staff safe and free from confrontation.
