In case you haven't noticed, here at Carter Security, we're going through a bit of a rebrand, and that includes our new red-blue-red logo highlighting the three key businesses that fall under what's collectively known as The Carter Group.
What's perhaps most poignant is that our security service remains completely unchanged in nature. The new corporate look simply reflects the quality level of service we provide for each and every one of our clients, so whilst we might have a different logo on our uniform, we still very much have the same core values we've always had.
This couldn't be more important this weekend, with the England football team playing in the Euro 2020 this Sunday and pubs booking up from midday onwards - it's certainly going to be a busy one for our hospitality clients! This makes a security presence especially valuable. We're only weeks away from restrictions being lifted and so the timing of this historical game is perhaps a little awkwardly placed. Table service and facemasks, as well as track and trace and the rule of six, are very much government guidelines still, so if hospitality venues want to avoid costly fines, trustworthy door supervisors and security guards will undoubtedly have their work cut out this weekend with encouraging football fans to remain complaint.
Despite the added pressure that this weekend brings, we couldn't be happier to be back out supporting the hospitality industry. This doesn't just involve pubs, but also licensed gaming venues and other establishments that have welcomed the public back with open arms. This time last year, being able to enjoy a Saturday (or indeed Sunday) night out with friends and family would have been met with fear and frustration, but the summer of 2021 couldn't be more different. From a security perspective, we've learnt a lot from the last 18 months and supporting businesses and local councils as best as we can has remained our top priority.
We hope that those out enjoying the football this weekend are able to remain mindful of the security guards and hospitality staff this weekend... and of course, it's coming home!
