Last year large firework display events were illegal due to COVID-19 restrictions, so this year it’s likely that many of you will be wrapping up warm and venturing out tonight and tomorrow night to watch the sky being lit up with fireworks! All this talk of bonfire night got us thinking, and you’ll be surprised at the number of similarities there are between fireworks and security officers!
We work well at night
The first and most obvious similarity we think is that fireworks operate best at night, and our security officers are also brilliant at protecting businesses throughout the dark hours of the night too! We operate on both night shifts and daytime shifts, usually on a four-on, four-off shift pattern. Set of a firework and BOOM off it goes! You can expect (almost) the same speed when it comes to many of the security services we offer. This includes our alarm response service, where you can opt to have a trained security officer attend your business premises should an alarm be sounded at your property. A similar speed of light can be expected when it comes to de-escalation techniques. Should you require security officers or door supervisors at your hospitality venue, part of their role will include managing anti-social behaviour. You can expect this to be handled quickly and professionally to reduce disruption to other punters you might have.
