We’ll therefore be looking for candidates who have experience working cross-functionally and can demonstrate their ability to collaborate effectively.
In addition to these key considerations, there are a few other factors to keep in mind…these include:
- Understanding of the regulatory environment: The security industry is heavily regulated, and it's important that the right candidate has a solid understanding of the regulatory environment in which you operate.
- Strategic thinking: Business Development Managers need to be able to think strategically about how to position Carter Security in the market and generate new business.

We’ll therefore be looking for someone who is results-oriented, with a track record of delivering on their targets. There will be performance related bonuses as part of this position.
