We currently find ourselves in the fortunate position to be expanding our team at head office, so we’re recruiting two administrators to support our increasingly busy business operations.
What will be the responsibilities?
First and foremost, it will be the responsibility of these new team members to plan the rotas of our security guards. We are a national security provider, with clients across the country, and each client has a tailor-made contract to suit the bespoke nature of both their business and their budget. This creates a logistical challenge that these recruits will be accountable for this.
Due to the nature of our office, it might that these roles could lean into other departments to support when needed. We’re a close-knit team in a busy environment, and so having a holistic view of the whole business will be incredibly beneficial to the role itself, as well as brilliantly helpful to other departments when required.
What skills are needed for the role?
Exceptional communication skills are a must for these roles, as the primary responsibility is liaising with security officers, their operational duties, and their rotas.
Secondly, there’s being competent with Microsoft Office, email, and IT general. Being computer literate is an essential skill for this role.
What personal attributes would be beneficial?
These roles will include a mix of independent and team-working, so being able to work on your own initiative and as part of the wider team is something we’d be looking for. We’d also be looking for a good problem-solver and someone who’s able to step up to a challenge. No day is ever the same, so being comfortable when problems need solving quickly would be an excellent skill to have.
What else should an applicant know about this role?
This role is primarily office-based, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, but out-of-hours support, remotely, may be required. This would be rotared in with the other planners. We would give full training, and these roles are full-time permanent positions.
The salary is currently listed as £20,000, with both a bonus scheme and performance bonus in place. On-site parking is also available.
This role is a brilliant opportunity to work within an established but growing business, often working in close proximity to the owner and founder, Nick Carter. This means that your skills can be quickly recognised and rewarded, and you can be at the heart of the business day to day, knowing exactly what’s going on. What’s perhaps even more exciting is Fudge, the office dog.. or ‘wellbeing support officer’!
