Today it’s Employee Appreciation Day, a national day in place to recognise the beneficial relationship between employer and employee. It’s a chance to formally say thank you to those within your team, sharing your gratitude for the work they do each and every day.
For us, it’s a chance to extend our thanks to everyone in Carter Security, from those in our head office in Wisbech, to the security officers, mobile patrols, and door supervisors who represent us to our clients.
Why do our security officer deserve recognition?
Our security officers are an incredible asset to our team. Without their hard work and dedication, we wouldn’t have the stellar reputation we’ve maintained throughout thick and thin!
Over the last few years especially, we’ve been particularly grateful, with the security sector being recognised as key workers. This meant many of our security teams worked throughout the pandemic, stepping into new roles such as COVID-19 marshalls to ensure the public remained safe. It meant supporting local businesses when they began to open up again after months of impromptu lockdowns, encouraging the public to adhere to the government guidance.
Our security guards are also an extension of not just the team within our office in Wisbech, but of the teams to the clients we serve. From licenced gaming venues, to retail parks, our security officers work hard to reduce and report crime, it’s something we’re incredibly proud of.
So, to every in the Carter Security team, we wish you a Happy Employee Appreciation Day!
